Erb, Jr. and BWRC Team Invades Eldora Speedway for World 100
(September 8, 2024) From September 4-7, the BWRC House Car team was in the pit area at the hallowed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The busy week at the 1/2-mile, high-banked oval started on Wednesday night with a $20,000 payday on the line in a Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series shootout. Dennis Erb, Jr. finished ninth in his heat race and tenth in his B-Main, but later received a series provisional to transfer into the 50-lap main event. Dennis was ultimately able to pass a handful of racecars to salvage a twenty-first place performance.

The 54th edition of the ‘World 100’ then took center stage at the “Big E” - starting with a pair of $12,000 to win, split-field preliminary programs. On Thursday evening, Dennis narrowly missed out on his 25-lap feature after placing ninth in his Shootout race. In a similar show on Friday, Dennis grabbed the eighth and final transfer spot through his Shootout race prior to finishing twenty-fourth in the final rundown of his 25-lapper.

With a whopping $57,000 paycheck up for grabs in Saturday’s annual ‘World 100,’ Dennis ran ninth in his loaded heat race before charging past eleven competitors in his B-Main. Unfortunately, the Carpentersville, Illinois star's sixth place effort in the consolation race was just shy of transferring him into the 100-lap crown jewel headliner. Top Five for Dennis Erb, Jr. in Sunday Stop at Spoon River!
(September 2, 2024) The Labor Day holiday weekend took Dennis Erb Racing to a pair of different dirt venues in the states of Iowa and Illinois from August 30-September 1. Things kicked off at 300 Raceway in Farley, Iowa with the two-day 'Yankee Dirt Track Classic,' which was sanctioned by the XR Super Series. On Friday night in the $15,000 to win lid lifter, Dennis Erb, Jr. placed fifth in his loaded heat race prior to finishing nineteenth at the completion of the 40-lap feature event. With a whopping $50,047 top prize up for grabs in Saturday's grand finale, Dennis once again ran fifth in his heat race, but a late flat tire in the 60-lap headliner helped drop the Carpentersville, Illinois ace to a fifteenth place showing.

On Sunday, the holiday weekend wrapped up with a MARS Racing Series showdown at Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois. Dennis stopped the clock third quickest overall during the qualifying session prior to picking up a heat race triumph. With passing at a premium throughout the 40-lap main event, Dennis eventually brought his #28 machine home in the fifth position behind only $5,000 'Plowboy Nationals' victor McKay Wenger, Ryan Unzicker, Jason Feger, and Justin Duty. Tenth Place Effort for Dennis Erb, Jr. in BWRC House Car Debut
(August 18, 2024) Dennis Erb, Jr. made his debut in the BWRC ICON House Car from August 14-17 in a trio of World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series showdowns in the states of Illinois and Iowa. The busy extended weekend kicked off on Wednesday at Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois. Dennis knocked down the third quickest time in Group A during qualifying prior to securing a victory in heat race action. After starting third on the grid in the $10,000 to win main event, Dennis was hampered by right front damage from an incident during the 40-lap feature and was eventually scored in the tenth finishing position. Thursday's scheduled stop to Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois was then unfortunately nixed by inclement weather.

The dirt-slinging action then quickly shifted to Maquoketa Speedway in Maquoketa, Iowa over the weekend for the two-day 'Hawkeye 100.' On Friday evening with a $10,000 top prize up for grabs, Dennis placed fourth in his heat race and eighteenth in the 40-lapper after suffering a flat tire just past halfway. With a $20,000 paycheck on the line in Saturday's finale, Dennis ran fifth in his heat race, won his B-Main, and later climbed to fourteenth in the 60-lap headliner. The Carpentersville, Illinois star still finds himself ninth in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings exiting the 'Hawkeye 100.' Dennis Erb, Jr. & BWRC Join Forces for Remainder of 2024 Season
(August 14, 2024) When Dennis Erb, Jr. takes to the track later this evening at Highland Speedway, he will be sporting a slightly different paint scheme on his #28 and wheeling a totally different race car. The Carpentersville, Illinois star has recently joined forces with Barry Wright Race Cars and will now pilot an ICON car out of their Cowpens, South Carolina race shop for the remainder of the 2024 season. Dennis, who currently sits ninth in the latest version of the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series point standings, will vie for the $10,000 top prize with the national tour later tonight at the Highland, Illinois bullring.

“I am really excited about getting back behind the wheel of a Barry Wright race car and working closely with Barry and Lance (Wright) again,” commented Erb, Jr. earlier today. “I had a lot of success in their stuff several years back and we’ve remained good friends through the years. We tested together last night at Clarksville Speedway and I felt really comfortable in the car. Hopefully, we can get off to a fast start this weekend and work on building some momentum for the rest of the season!”

Lance Wright echoed many of those same sentiments today via telephone. “We have always tried to help Dennis out - even when he wasn’t in our cars. Thanks to ASD Motorsports, we were able to put this deal together and we’re very excited about working hands on with Dennis once again. The test session went well last night and hopefully we are quick right out of the box later this evening!”

Following tonight’s show at Highland (IL) Speedway, the Dennis Erb Racing team will follow the World of Outlaws Late Model Series trail to both Spoon River Speedway in Banner, Illinois and Maquoketa Speedway in Maquoketa, Iowa to wrap up the busy four-race week. Another $10,000 winner’s check will be on the line Thursday at Spoon River, while the two-night ‘Hawkeye 100’ at Maquoketa will pay $10,000 to win on Friday and $20,000 to win on Saturday.
